The Sindh government has introduced a new online job portal aimed at helping citizens secure employment in both government and private sectors.
The launch event was attended by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and other key officials. Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon highlighted that with 65% of Pakistan’s population consisting of youth, the initiative seeks to empower and provide career opportunities to them.
The portal allows skilled professionals and graduates to upload their CVs and apply for jobs, offering access to positions beyond government roles, including opportunities in the private sector. Memon emphasized that while many prefer government jobs, initiatives like the People’s Housing Scheme also generate employment for skilled workers.
Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah urged both job seekers and employers to register on the platform. He stated that vacancies for grades 1 to 4 would be posted directly, while grades 5 to 15 would be filled through IBA’s transparent selection process. The portal will also feature temporary job listings to expand access to employment. The government plans to actively promote the platform to encourage more registrations and job placements.
