Shahnaz Kapadia Elected Unopposed as IWCCI President

Shahnaz Kapadia takes charge as IWCCI president after her unopposed election at the chamber’s 17th AGM.
The Islamabad Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI) has elected Shahnaz Kapadia unopposed as its new President during the chamber’s 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Kapadia brings 37 years of business experience to the role. She founded ECI (Pvt.) Ltd. before selling the company and pursuing studies at Harvard University. After returning to Pakistan, she founded Mera Maan (Pvt.) Ltd.
New IWCCI Leadership
The chamber also announced Madeeha Erum, CEO of Kostbar (Pvt.) Ltd., as Senior Vice President.
Tuba Sheikh, who heads Stou Developers and Contractors (Pvt.) Ltd., was announced as Vice President.
The newly constituted Executive Committee includes Zunaira Omar, Dr. Sonia Saleem, Sehrish Ahsan, Niloufer Khan, Aisha Shehzad, Zumla, Shehla Anwar, Nazia Toheed and Bushra Bhutta.
Farah Naz, Parliamentary Secretary and chief guest at the AGM, administered the oath to the newly elected office-bearers and Executive Committee members.
Women Entrepreneurs’ Role Highlighted
Speaking at the AGM, Farah Naz highlighted the growing contribution of women entrepreneurs to Pakistan’s economy.

She appreciated the role of women’s chambers in supporting businesswomen and strengthening professional networks.
Samina Fazil, Founder President of IWCCI, welcomed the continued growth of the chamber and the participation of established women entrepreneurs in its leadership.
She said the development reflected IWCCI’s founding mission to empower women and increase their participation in trade and industry.
Former Presidents Attend AGM
Former IWCCI presidents Rizwana Asif, Farida Rashid, Naima Ansari, Aliya Akram and Niloufer Khan also attended the meeting.
The AGM brought together chamber members, former office-bearers and businesswomen to mark the leadership transition.
The new leadership is expected to focus on expanding opportunities for women entrepreneurs, strengthening business networks and encouraging greater participation by women in Pakistan’s economy.
