Dera Ismail Khan: 12 militants were eliminated in separate operations last night in North Waziristan, Dera Ismail Khan, and Panjgur, the military’s media affairs wing announced on Saturday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), weapons, ammo, and explosives were also seized from the deceased militants during the intelligence-based operations in North Waziristan, Dera Ismail Khan, and Panjgur.
A wanted militant, Asad also known as Hasrat, was killed along with his accomplices in Panjgur IBO.
In a separate incident, security forces took down two militants in an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan, ISPR stated.
Eight more militants were “successfully neutralized” by security forces in Dera Ismail Khan.
A sanitization operation was underway to eradicate any other militants found in the area.
The security forces vowed to courageously eliminate the scourge of terrorism from the nation.
