KARACHI, August 19, 2026: State Bank of Pakistan Governor Jameel Ahmad inaugurated the painting exhibition “To the People of Pakistan” at the State Bank of Pakistan Museum on August 14.

The month-long exhibition showcases the work of renowned Pakistani artist Jimmy Engineer. It presents art as a reflection of the country’s people, culture and shared experiences.

The exhibition also highlights the role of art in preserving national stories and celebrating the spirit of Pakistan.

Exhibition Celebrates Jimmy Engineer’s Art

The event featured the unveiling of the book The Evolving Palette of Hope: Illuminating Lives Through Jimmy Engineer’s Art. Designer, compiler, curator and author Nageen Rizvi presented the book to Governor Jameel Ahmad during the ceremony.

The publication offers a detailed look at Engineer’s artistic journey and the themes reflected in his work.

Meanwhile, the exhibition has been curated and presented through the efforts of State Bank Museum Director Sikandar Malik and his team.
