Karachi: Saylani Welfare International conducted maiden Devathon Summit at Expo Centre Karachi, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori participated in the event as chief guest and distributed 200 laptops among distinguished students.
The purpose of Devathon Summit organized by Saylani Welfare International was to encourage it’s freshly trained young IT experts and to apprise the participants on developments viz a viz emerging trends in IT Sector. Renowned professionals from Tech, Banking, Corporate and other sectors participated in panel discussions. These activities were aimed at guiding the under training IT experts and bridging the gap between them and industry’s requirements. Participants of the ceremony emphasized the youngsters that by hardwork, dedication and upskilling themselves they can change their’s as well as country’s fate.
Chief Guest of the ceremony Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori met the participants of Devathon and distributed laptops among distinguished students. Later on during his speech he said, “education and skiled youth is the face of Pakistan and these young IT professionals can bring the real positive change”. He appreciated the efforts of Saylani Welfare International and congratulated the organizers of the ceremony.
Earlier in his welcome address the patron of Saylani Welfare International Moulana Bashir Farooqi reiterated the resolve of training 10 million IT experts and achieving the target of 100 Billion USD in IT exports. He said today’s Devathon is the starting point of this economic revolution and growth of IT Sector will ensure elimination of unemployment and poverty in the country, paving way to prosperity.
