Romanian Foreign Minister Oana-Silvia Toiu has appreciated Pakistan’s role in facilitating the recent Islamabad talks during a telephone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

According to an official statement, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors.
During the call, the Romanian foreign minister commended Pakistan’s constructive diplomatic efforts in hosting and supporting dialogue between key international stakeholders at the Islamabad peace talks.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and global developments, emphasising the importance of sustained dialogue and diplomacy as the preferred path for resolving international conflicts peacefully.
FM Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to constructive engagement with Romania and other international partners, highlighting Islamabad’s continued focus on promoting peace, stability, and mutual prosperity through diplomatic means.
Both sides noted the positive momentum in Pakistan–Romania relations and agreed to further enhance cooperation in the coming period.
