Karachi: A delegation from RK Sports Management met Iraqi Consul General Dr. Maher Mjhid Jejan in Karachi, congratulating Iraq on qualifying for the FIFA World Cup after a gap of 40 years.

The delegation, led by Founder and President Rais Khan, included Vice Chairperson Irum Fawad and Vice President Tahir Malik. A bouquet was presented to the Consul General, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony to mark the achievement.
Dr. Jejan thanked the delegation for the gesture and expressed confidence in Iraq’s national football team, describing it as a strong side capable of delivering an impressive performance at the global tournament. He attributed the qualification to consistent effort and dedication.
He also praised Pakistan for its sporting potential and highlighted the importance of promoting sports and cultural ties between the two countries. He suggested increased exchange of players across various disciplines to strengthen bilateral relations.
Rais Khan termed Iraq’s qualification a significant milestone and called for enhanced cooperation between Pakistan and Iraq in sports, culture, and trade. He noted that RK Sports Management has been actively promoting sports through the organisation of events and tournaments.
Vice Chairperson Irum Fawad emphasised efforts to boost women’s participation in sports, adding that Pakistani female athletes are achieving notable success at the international level.
