BERLIN: Pakistani representative Qurrat Ul Ain has shared reflections from her participation in the launch of the Dialogue and Impact for Sustainable Textiles (DST) event in Berlin, highlighting the importance of global cooperation in advancing sustainability and human rights in the textile industry.

In a social media post under the hashtag #TextileDialogue, she described the two-day event as a meaningful experience filled with learning, connection, and discussions on sustainable trade practices and environmental responsibility.
She emphasized that real and lasting change in areas such as human rights protection and environmental sustainability can only be achieved through collective effort across sectors and countries, stating that “no single voice and no single sector can do it alone.”
Qurrat Ul Ain noted that listening to international leaders including Johann Saathoff and Michael Krake was highly inspiring, but said the strongest impact came from the shared sense of purpose and collaboration among participants.
Representing Pakistan at the forum, she expressed pride in the country’s growing involvement in global discussions on responsible and sustainable trade. She highlighted that Pakistan is increasingly playing a constructive role in shaping international dialogue around ethical production and trade practices.
She concluded her reflections by stressing the importance of unity and collaboration, stating that progress becomes more meaningful when stakeholders work together toward common goals in sustainability and human rights.
