KARACHI: A delegation of the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) held a detailed meeting with Sindh Governor Syed Nehal Hashmi at the Governor House on April 28, 2026, focusing on issues related to industrial growth, infrastructure development, and business facilitation in the Korangi Industrial Area.

The meeting was attended by KATI President Muhammad Ikram Rajput and Senior Vice President Zahid Hameed. During the discussion, the delegation highlighted key challenges being faced by industries operating in Korangi, particularly those related to infrastructure gaps, utility services, and ease of doing business.
The participants stressed the need for improved facilities to support industrial productivity and attract further investment in the region. They also emphasized that addressing these concerns would play a vital role in strengthening Pakistan’s overall economic performance.
Governor Sindh Syed Nehal Hashmi appreciated the contributions of the business community in supporting economic stability and job creation. He assured the delegation of his full cooperation in resolving the issues on a priority basis and reiterated the government’s commitment to facilitating industrial development.
The meeting concluded on a positive and constructive note, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to close coordination between the government and the business community for sustainable economic growth in Sindh.
As a gesture of goodwill and appreciation, KATI President Muhammad Ikram Rajput presented the KATI shield to the Governor of Sindh.
