The new routes will make Qatar Airways the first Gulf carrier to operate flights to Venezuela and the first airline from the Middle East to directly connect with both Bogotá and Caracas.
According to the airline, the new services will strengthen connectivity between the Middle East and South America while offering passengers improved access to over 160 global destinations through Hamad International Airport.
Qatar Airways will initially operate two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Sundays using Boeing 777 aircraft.
Under the announced schedule, Flight QR783 will depart Doha at 7:30am and arrive in Bogotá at 4:05pm local time before continuing onward to Caracas. The return flight from Caracas to Doha will operate non-stop.

The airline said the schedule has been designed to provide smooth onward connections to major destinations including Australia, China, Japan, Lebanon, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates.
The addition of Bogotá and Caracas will expand Qatar Airways’ Americas network to 16 destinations, reinforcing the carrier’s long-term strategy to increase its footprint across Latin America and strengthen global connectivity.
Qatar Airways first entered the South American market in 2010 with flights to São Paulo, Brazil, and has continued expanding its presence in the region over the years.
Industry observers say the new routes could create faster travel options between South America, the Middle East, and Asia, reducing dependence on European and North American transit hubs.
Bookings for the new services are available through the airline’s official website and mobile application.
