Hours after the no-confidence motion against Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani rejected, the senators of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) on Thursday handed over their resignations to PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that 21 senators have handed over their resignations to him.
The senators were of the view that they were ashamed of the party’s defeat today.
Earlier talking to media, the PPP chairman said that 14 senators had stabbed in the back of the party and democracy.
We will find out who voted against them”, he added.
Bilawal Bhutto advised Sadiq Sanjrani should morally resign from the chairmanship. 002
