Islamabad: An exhibition match was played between Pakistan Green and Pakistan White teams in connection with Pakistan Defense Day organized by Pakistan Federation Baseball. The Chief Guest of the opening ceremony, Colonel Sadaf Akram of Pakistan Army Sports inaugurated the match along with President PFB Syed Fakhar Ali Shah. Secretary Pakistan Cycling Federation Moazzam Khan klair, President Pakistan Dodgeball Federation Mian Rizwan and others were also present on this occasion.
The match was interesting as both the teams consisted mostly of international players from Pakistan and Pakistan Green emerged as the winner of the match. After the match, in a conversation with media manager Parvez Ahmed Sheikh, President Pakistan Federation Baseball Syed Fakhr Ali Shah said that at every point of life, we need our forces and other organizations whose men have sacrificed their lives for the security of this country.The sacrifices should be remembered every moment in our lives and our future generations should not avoid making any kind of sacrifice for the safety and development of this country.
He further said that baseball in Pakistan is progressing steadily and the national male and female camp at Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad reflects that Pakistan will be in a prominent position in Asia and the world in the coming tomorrow.
