Islamabad, October 17, 2024 – Pakistan Television (PTV) has once again demonstrated its leadership in the media industry by successfully conducting a marathon +50-hour transmission covering the 23rd Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit held in Islamabad from October 14 to October 17, 2024. The state-run broadcaster provided comprehensive, uninterrupted coverage of the high-profile event, surpassing private media channels in depth and reach.
PTV News and PTV World delivered live coverage of the arrival of heads of state and foreign dignitaries at Noor Khan Air Base and Islamabad International Airport. With a team of experienced foreign affairs analysts, political experts, and seasoned anchors, PTV offered in-depth analysis of the summit’s key moments.
