Pakistan Railways has announced an increase in train fares, issuing an official notification confirming the hike. This decision has sparked concern among passengers.
According to the notification, a 5% fare increase has been applied to all travel classes, including economy, and will also extend to outsourced trains. The revised fares will take effect from February 5, 2025. The price adjustment includes all ticket categories, including salon services, as reported by national media.
