London — The High Commission for Pakistan in London has signed a landmark agreement with Gerry’s Visa Services Ltd., appointing it as the sole authorized partner to establish a nationwide consular facilitation network across the United Kingdom.
The initiative, approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan, aims to enhance accessibility, efficiency, and convenience of consular services for the Pakistani diaspora in the UK, estimated at over two million people.
Under the agreement, Gerry’s will operate authorized facilitation centres across the country, offering a wide range of consular services, including visa processing, passport issuance, NADRA documentation, and attestation services.
Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, Dr. Muhammad Faisal, said the partnership reflects a people-centric approach. He noted that decentralizing services through authorized partners would eliminate the need for long-distance travel while ensuring faster and more secure access to essential documentation.
Chairman of Gerry’s, Afzal Wali Muhammad, welcomed the development, stating that the company was honoured to be entrusted with the initiative. He emphasized the organization’s commitment to providing transparent, efficient, and secure services, backed by its experience in consular facilitation.
The first facilitation centre is expected to be inaugurated in May 2026, with a phased rollout planned to expand services across major cities in the UK. Detailed information regarding locations, available services, and appointment procedures will be announced in the coming weeks.
Gerry’s Group, a diversified conglomerate with over six decades of operations, maintains a strong presence in travel, logistics, aviation services, and hospitality sectors, both in Pakistan and internationally.
