KARACHI: Naatiya poems instill the love of Mustafa (peace be upon him) in the hearts and are aware of many aspects of Sirat-e-Taiba which encourage people to understand and follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet and the commands of Allah Ta’ala.These views were expressed by Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori while addressing the audience of the 35th annual Mahfil Naat organized by Anjuman-e Shidaiyan-e Rasool. He further said that the main cause of poverty, unemployment and lack of justice in the country today is the result of not following Islamic orders.
Rizwan Siddiqui, the head of Anjuman Shidaiyan-i-Rasoool, said in his speech that holding the 35th Mahfil Naat regularly in a five-star hotel is the grace of Allah and the special grace of the Holy Prophet. On this occasion, religious scholar Aneeq Ahmed said that according to the instructions of the Holy Quran, the only way to connect with Allah Almighty is to follow the good deeds of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).On this occasion, eminent scholars of Islam, Sana Khawan, Waheed Zafar Qasmi, Siddiq Ismail, Sabih Rahmani, Mahmood Al Hasan Ashrafi, Shafiq Ahmed, Faisal Naqshbandi, Muhammad Shariq and Hafiz Noman Tahir offered Hadiya Naat at the Bargah of the Holy Prophet. While at the end, Haji Hanif Tayyab prayed.A large number of guests from different walks of life participated in the Naat event.
