KARACHI, April 29, 2026 — A Selection Board meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Shaikh, Vice Chancellor of Ziauddin University and Chairperson of the Selection Board.
Mehmood Arshad Appointed Chairman of Economic Council by Employers’ Federation of Pakistan
During the meeting, members Mr. Salik Nazeer Ahmed and Mr. Aslam Sanjrani, both former Chief Secretaries of Sindh, presented a bouquet to Dr. Shaikh, extending their congratulations on his appointment as Vice Chancellor and Chairperson of the Selection Board.
The meeting focused on academic and administrative matters related to faculty selection and institutional governance.
Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr. Abbas Zafar, also attended the session.
Participants appreciated Dr. Shaikh’s leadership and expressed confidence in his continued efforts to strengthen academic standards and institutional development at the university.
