The talks between the United States and Talban has brought the situation in favor of the United States. Though, its early to comment, yet the signs are positive. It may be reminded that the POTUS (President of the United States) had indicated in December to pull 7,000 U.S. troops from Afghanistan.
The pulling of U.S. troops from Afghanistan definitely serves U.S. national interest, however such an action is detrimental to Pakistan’s national security.
MY PERSONAL TEN CENTS ON PAKISTAN:
Unfortunately, Pakistan will be deprived of her global significance in three major areas:
1. Defense: where Taliban will have a field’s day in the region influencing domestic Pakistan. India will capitalize on the situation.
2. Economy: The receding importance of Pakistan in war on terror will further damage economic support to Pakistan, if any.
3. Diplomacy: Pakistan’s central place in international diplomacy as a most favorite nation will be obliterated.
DIMWITS NEED TO UNDERSTAND THIS VISION.
International diplomacy, defense priorities
Do not rejoice, a message to
Pakistan’s very interest is at stake.
Nothing more to say.
