The “LONGi Unite and Transform Summit 2026” focused on Pakistan’s accelerating shift toward renewable energy, as rising electricity costs and energy shortages continue to drive demand for solar solutions across industrial, commercial and residential sectors.
Industry participants noted that the sector is gradually moving away from price-based competition toward value-driven investment decisions, where efficiency, durability and long-term performance are becoming key priorities.
During the event, LONGi introduced its expanded portfolio of integrated energy solutions, including commercial and industrial battery energy storage systems, large-scale storage packages, and solar water pumping systems designed for agricultural use. These solutions aim to address Pakistan’s growing need for reliable storage, efficient power management and sustainable farming energy systems.
The summit also highlighted broader market challenges such as policy uncertainty, supply chain disruptions and the need for a more coordinated industry ecosystem to support long-term growth. Technical sessions and training workshops were held for distributors and installers to improve skills and promote knowledge sharing across the solar value chain.
According to LONGi Pakistan Head Jin Yong, Pakistan remains a strategically important market for the company. He stressed the importance of strengthening partnerships and investing in technology to support the country’s transition toward cleaner and more stable energy systems.
The event also included a partner recognition segment, underscoring the company’s focus on long-term collaboration with local stakeholders.
Analysts at the summit said such initiatives could help structure Pakistan’s solar ecosystem more effectively, balancing affordability with performance while supporting broader energy security goals. As the country continues to face power shortages and rising costs, industry forums like this are increasingly seen as key to shaping a more sustainable energy future.
