Islamabad : (May-02-2025) : Samina Fazil, founding president of the Islamabad Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on Friday, lauded Chief of Army Staff General Hafiz Asim Munir's unwavering
commitment to Pakistan's defence and stability, highlighting his exceptional leadership and dedication to safeguarding the nation.
While addressing businesswomen, she stated that Pakistan is prepared to respond decisively to any military aggression, with the nation firmly supporting its military leadership.
She highlighted Pakistan's foundation on the two-nation theory, describing it as vital for preserving the country's ideological integrity and territorial sovereignty.
Samina Fazil reiterated that unity across political lines is growing, driven by a renewed trust in the armed forces' capabilities.
Referring to recent developments, she expressed confidence in the ongoing economic recovery, attributing it to strong coordination between the government and the military.
According to her, recent economic trends show signs of resilience and renewed investor confidence.
Addressing the recent Pahalgam incident, Fazil accused the Modi-led Indian government of orchestrating the attack as part of a broader pattern of destabilising actions against Pakistan.
She condemned these alleged conspiracies, noting that India's role in regional unrest is becoming increasingly apparent.
Samina Fazil pointed to a rise in terrorism in Pakistan, claiming that India's influence is fueling violence and undermining security in the region. She warned that such hostile actions threaten not only Pakistan but also its neighbours, making peace a collective regional challenge.
She criticised India's violation of international treaties, specifically the Indus Waters Treaty, describing it as a dangerous strategy to provoke instability. According to her, every time Pakistan makes progress, India reacts with disruptive measures to derail development.
In her remarks, Fazil expressed pride in the military's sacrifices and valour, stating that the country's armed forces are the nation's pride. She said the public is increasingly united and appreciative of the security provided by Pakistan's defence institutions.

She issued a stern warning that any future conflict initiated by India could escalate beyond control, potentially drawing in nuclear consequences with global repercussions.
However, she clarified that Pakistan does not seek confrontation but will not hesitate to defend itself if provoked.
Samina Fazil urged the international community to step in and hold India accountable for its escalating aggression and propagation of misinformation. She argued that unchecked hostility endangers not just Pakistan but the broader South Asian region.
Highlighting the professionalism and preparedness of Pakistan's military, she reaffirmed that their primary mission is to maintain peace and safeguard the nation, not to provoke conflict. She called upon major world powers to encourage diplomatic solutions and demand justice, particularly in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
Fazil stressed that a peaceful and economically stable Pakistan benefits the global community. She called for concerted efforts to challenge Indian propaganda and ensure the truth is recognised internationally.
