Ishaq Dar addressed to members of PML-N BF.

Former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar while addressing PML-N Business Forum meeting in Karachi, said that nation has seen economic mess of PTI government as against high GDP growth, record revenue collection, stable currency, inflation and other impressive economic indicators achieved by PML-N government.

The meeting was organized by Mirza Ishtiaq Baig President of the Business Forum, in his presentation Ishaq Dar said that first time in the history, Pakistan achieved negative growth of 0.4% GDP against 5.8% GDP achieved in PML-N government. The large scale manufacturing and services sector performed negative also performed negative. Members of the business forum expressed their deep concern on the poor economic performance of the present government, closure of industries causing massive unemployment, and record dearness in the country. The meeting was also attended by former Minister of Education govt. of Punjab Rana Mashhood along with the leading businessmen of the forum.

Mirza Ishtiaq Baig

Leading businessman, philanthropist & Hon. Consul General of Kingdom of Morocco, Mirza Ishtiaq Baig has been appointed Chairman Pak-Morocco Business Council of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI). He has been appointed as Chairman Pak Morocco Business council from last many years. Ishtiaq Baig is also the Chairman of Pak Morocco joint business council and instrumental in enhancing bilateral trade between Morocco & Pakistan. He recently took a delegation of 20 Pakistani leading businessmen to visit Morocco to explore exports opportunities.  A biryani festival recently organized in Morocco by him with collaboration of Embassy to promote Pakistani rice, the event was a great success. He is also the former Vice President of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI). In recognition of his services to promote bilateral trade and relations between the two countries, the government of Kingdom of Morocco has conferred upon him Moroccan Civil Award ‘Wissam Alawi’.
