Former journalist and YouTuber Imran Riaz Khan has reached London after leaving Pakistan through an unauthorized migration route.
Announcing his arrival on X (formerly Twitter), he expressed gratitude to former Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Qasim Suri, for his support. His family confirmed to Geo News that he has safely arrived in London and intends to return to Pakistan when circumstances allow.
In his tweet, Imran Riaz reflected on his struggles, stating that he had endured severe torture, multiple imprisonments, and legal battles, including ten arrests. He also mentioned missing the opportunity to perform Hajj but remained patient, vowing to return to Pakistan after fulfilling critical responsibilities.
He credited Suri for guiding him and revealed that he exited Pakistan through overland routes, facing significant risks, including threats from wild animals.
Imran Riaz has been entangled in various legal challenges, often accused of spreading misinformation. Despite this, he continues to enjoy strong support, particularly from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) followers.
