Imran Khan Eye Condition Timeline
Imran Khan has been receiving ongoing treatment for right central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO), an eye condition that became publicly known in late January.
According to previous medical updates, the first procedure was carried out on January 24. Additional anti-VEGF injections followed on February 24, March 23, and April 28.
Mondayās procedure marked the fifth scheduled treatment session under the current medical plan.
Officials stated that after completing the procedure, Imran Khan remained medically stable and was discharged with instructions for future care and follow-up.
Opposition Raises Treatment Concerns
Over recent months, the issue of Imran Khanās medical care has remained part of broader political debate.
Opposition representatives have questioned transparency around treatment arrangements and have called for greater access for personal physicians. They have also demanded transferring the former prime minister to Shifa International Hospital.
Government representatives have denied those allegations and maintained that medical care is being provided according to required standards.
The latest hospital statement focused on the procedure itself and stated that the treatment process was completed under standard medical protocols while follow-up care was advised.
