In Pakistan, a growing concern is how quickly celebrity culture is overshadowing the value of education and intellect. Young minds today are often more inspired by TikTok fame than by scholars, scientists, or teachers.
This imbalance is harmful for a country that urgently needs innovation, research, and informed leadership. Educators, thinkers, and problem-solvers must be celebrated with the same energy and attention given to entertainers.
Media, policymakers, and parents all have a role to play in helping reset national values, so that children grow up aspiring not just to be famous, but to be wise, informed, and genuinely useful to society.
