Showbiz Desk: Actress Maya Ali said that she has no competition in the showbiz industry. He said that according to him every actress is the best, no other actress has ever compared herself. To a question, he said that Yumna Zaidi, Saba Qamar, and Sajjal Aly are such talented actresses of our industry who have played dramas and roles on various subjects and they also want to play similar roles like them. Nowadays, Maya Ali is showing the essence of acting in the drama serial “Dil Na Umeed to Nahi” along with actor Shehryar Munawar.

Actress Maya Ali was born as ‘Maryam Tanveer Ali’ on 27 July 1989 current age 32 years in Lahore, Pakistan to Muslim Parents. She completed her master’s in Mass Communication from Queen Mary College, Lahore. Maya Ali’s mother’s name is Shagufta Nazar is a housewife and her father’s name is Tanveer Ali was a businessman who died in 2016. She has two younger brothers Afnan Qureshi and Saqlain Hayder.

At an early age, Maya started her career as a video jockey (VJ) for the channels Samaa TV and then worked at Waqt News and Dunya News. Maya’s father was against her working in the entertainment industry and did not talk to her for six years, but she reconciled with him, before his death. In 2012, Maya’s career debut role in the drama “Durr-e-Shehwar”, telecasted on Hum TV as a “Mahnoor Sami”. Maya’s first leads role in the serial “Aik Nayee Cinderella” telecasted on Geo TV as a “Meesha (cinderella)” opposite Osman Khalid Butt and Faizan Khawaja. Maya made her Film debut leading role in the Pakistani Film “Teefa in Trouble” as “Anya” opposite actor Ali Zafar in 2018. Maya won the IPPA Awards for Best Actor Female Film Viewer’s Choice for the film “Teefa in Trouble” in 2019. In Galaxy Lollywood Awards she won the Best Female Debut for the film “Teefa in Trouble” in 2019. The first non-Indian film was distributed internationally by Yash Raj Films.
