According to an official statement, the operation recovered about 1,500 kilograms of hashish and 500 kilograms of “ice”.
Officials estimated the international market value of the seized drugs at about $215 million.

Joint operation targets maritime smuggling
Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Coast Guards carried out the operation together.
Authorities said intelligence led to the action, and the Joint Maritime Information Coordination Centre helped coordinate it.
Officials added that the narcotics consignment was travelling through the Arabian Sea.
Investigators believe the shipment was headed for international destinations.
Drugs handed over for legal action
Authorities handed the seized narcotics to Pakistan Coast Guards for legal proceedings and further investigation.
Officials did not release any information about arrests or the identities linked to the consignment.
Officials said investigators would continue to trace the origin of the shipment and identify the network behind it.
