Gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant jump on Wednesday, following an upward trend in the global market. The price of gold rose by Rs6,600, reaching Rs349,400 per tola, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold climbed by Rs5,659 to Rs299,554.
This increase comes after a smaller rise of Rs300 on Tuesday, when the price stood at Rs342,800 per tola.
On the international front, gold prices surged to $3,310 per ounce—including a $20 premium—marking a $66 overall increase.
Silver prices in the local market also saw a slight uptick, going up by Rs56 to settle at Rs3,466 per tola.
