KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan continued to decline on Friday, in line with a global downtrend in precious metal rates.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs1,595, bringing the new rate to Rs357,000. Meanwhile, the price for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,368, settling at Rs306,069.
This follows a similar decline on Thursday, when gold fell by Rs460 per tola to close at Rs358,595.
On the international front, gold prices also dipped. The global price stood at $3,356 per ounce, including a $20 premium—down by $16 compared to the previous day, as per APGJSA figures.
Silver prices in Pakistan also recorded a minor drop, with the rate per tola decreasing by Rs24, now priced at Rs3,796.
