Karachi: The Global Women Media (GWM) delegation visiting Lahore from 12th to 15th August 2021 (three days & two nights) at Governor House Punjab. Recently, Global Women Media has announced the Renowned TV Celebrity Ms. Hira Mani as an Ambassador.
The Global Women Media (GWM) delegation was led by Founder & Chairperson Ms. Muneezay Moeen and Ambassador Ms. Hira Mani. The Governor of Punjab H.E. Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar hosting the delegation at Governor House.
The delegations discussed the objectives of Global Women Media (GWM) for women empowerment to create a soft image of Pakistan through various cultural activities. We are thanked the H.E. Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar for receiving him despite the COVID-19 pandemic. We also thank you for your consent to be the Patron of this august body which will certainly elevate the stature and morale of the members.
The names of the Global Women Media’s (GWM) delegation members visiting Lahore from 12th to 15th August 2021 are Renowned Anchor Ms. Sana Hashmi GTV, Renowned Anchor Ms. Afsheen Qureshi BOL TV, Senior Anchor Ms. Najia Mir KTN News, Senior Anchor Ms. Rida Saifee K-21 News, Syed Turab Shah Chairman theazb.com and including some renowned journalists come from Lahore.
During the delegation, Members visiting the Badshahi Masjid, Minar-e-Pakistan, Greater Iqbal Park, National History Museum, Lahore Fort, Iqbal Tomb, Lahore Press Club, Lahore Food Street.
In the end, Press briefed at Governor House Punjab before departure. This delegation will certainly create a better understanding to learn the culture & heritage of Punjab.
