However, he expressed concern over the recurring internet issues in the country, which he described as a critical obstacle to the growth of this vibrant sector. “Unstable and unreliable internet connectivity is undermining the efforts of our freelancers. This not only impacts their productivity but also threatens Pakistan’s reputation in the global digital marketplace. It is imperative for the government to resolve these challenges to ensure uninterrupted internet services,” he added.Faraz-ur-Rehman announced that the Pakistan Business Group (PBGO) will take a proactive role in supporting the freelance community. “We are initiating a dedicated platform to empower freelancers, providing them with resources, mentorship, and opportunities to enhance their skills and network globally. Our aim is to help them unlock their potential and contribute even more effectively to Pakistan’s economy,” he stated.He urged the government to prioritize the needs of the freelance and IT sectors, ensuring that this thriving community continues to flourish. “This is a golden opportunity to capitalize on the immense talent and potential of our youth.
