KARACHI: Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), in collaboration with Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), will jointly organize the “AgriFood: Global Investment and Partnership Conference & Expo” at the ICCD Headquarters in Karachi on May 14, 2026.

President FPCCI Atif Ikram Sheikh announced that the upcoming conference aims to promote investment opportunities, strengthen international partnerships, and unlock the immense potential of Pakistan’s agriculture and agri-based industries.
He stated that FPCCI fully supports this strategic collaboration with ICCD and remains committed to facilitating meaningful engagement between local and international stakeholders connected to the agri-food sector.
According to Atif Ikram Sheikh, the conference and expo will serve as a major platform for enhancing trade linkages, attracting foreign and domestic investment, and showcasing Pakistan’s agricultural strengths at the international level. He emphasized that agriculture continues to remain a cornerstone of Pakistan’s economy and holds significant potential for sustainable economic growth and export development.
The FPCCI president assured full cooperation for the successful organization of the event, highlighting FPCCI’s long-standing partnership and collaborative relationship with ICCD in promoting trade, investment, and economic cooperation among member countries.
To make the event comprehensive and result-oriented, representatives from agriculture chambers across all provinces are expected to participate alongside leaders from key sectoral associations, including pesticide manufacturers, fertilizer and urea producers, seed companies, allied industries, and academia.
Senior representatives from prominent chambers of commerce and industry from across the country are also likely to attend the conference, providing an opportunity for networking, business matchmaking, and policy dialogue.
Atif Ikram Sheikh further noted that in view of the evolving regional and global economic situation, efforts are being made to ensure broader international participation. He said that foreign delegates, investors, trade representatives, and members of the diplomatic community are expected to join the event, enhancing its global outreach and investment potential.
