MATLI (SINDH): Sham Sunder K. Advani on Wednesday laid the foundation stone of a Satsang Hall at Mata Mandir, marking a new development initiative aimed at facilitating the local Hindu community.

The ceremony took place at the temple located on Phulkara Road, where Dr. Advani formally inaugurated the project. The construction is being carried out under the Minority Affairs Department, Government of Sindh.
The event was attended by Tanzeela Qambrani, along with several prominent figures including A.D. Khawaja, community leaders, members of the Hindu Panchayat, and a large number of local residents.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Advani said the project reflects the Sindh government’s commitment to the welfare and development of minority communities. He directed authorities to ensure timely completion of the Satsang Hall, stressing that quality standards must be strictly maintained.
He added that the initiative aligns with the vision of the Pakistan Peoples Party leadership and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, under which the uplift and protection of minority communities remain a priority.
Dr. Advani reaffirmed the government’s resolve to safeguard minority rights and ensure proper maintenance and facilitation of places of worship across the province.
The project is expected to provide a dedicated space for religious and community gatherings, strengthening social cohesion and support for minority communities in the region.
