A Foreign Office spokesman denied reports that any Pakistani delegation had visited Israel.
The Foreign Office responded to the news published about the visit of the Pakistani delegation to Israel. The Foreign Office has categorically stated that the visit of a Pakistani delegation rejects the notion of Israel.
The spokesman clarified that the visit was arranged by a foreign NGO which is not based in Pakistan. Pakistan’s position on the Palestinian issue is clear and unambiguous. There has been no change in our policy on which there is full national consensus.
The spokesman said that Pakistan strongly supports the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and the establishment of a Palestinian state and the capital Al-Quds Al-Sharif is essential for lasting peace in the region.
After the Israeli president confirmed the meeting with the Pakistani delegation, former prime minister Imran Khan had said that the imported is now going to recognize Israel as well. For the first time, a delegation has gone to Israel. ?
