Independent candidates have won a clear majority in Balochistan local body elections, so far 1,487 seats have been won by independents.
According to unconfirmed and unofficial results, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam has topped the list of political parties by winning 260 seats.
The ruling Balochistan Awami Party is second with 213 seats.
The National Party is third with 100 seats.
According to the results so far, PKMAP has won 88 seats, BNP 79 and PPP 58 seats.
BNP has won 43 seats, ANP 24 and PTI 23 seats.
Jamhoori Watan Party has won 18 seats, PML-N 15 and Jamaat-e-Islami 7 seats.
Independent candidate Abdul Waheed won Mastung UC21 Ward 3 with 37 votes while PML-N’s Juma Dad won Zhob UC3 Ward 2 with 162 votes.
In Municipal Committee Mangchar Ward, Independent candidate Sultan Muhammad won with 386 votes, in Municipal Committee Mangchar Ward 11 Munir Ahmed of National Party won with 62 votes.
Noor Ahmed of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam won with 69 votes in Municipal Committee Mangchar Ward 10, while Saleem Babar of National Party won with 79 votes in Municipal Committee Mangchar Ward 8.
In Municipal Committee Mangchar Ward, Chakar Khan of National Party won with 80 votes. In Municipal Committee Mangchar Ward 6, independent candidate Abdul Samad won with 216 votes.
Independent candidate in Balochistan local body elections Abdul Ghaffar won the Municipal Committee Mangchar Ward 5 with 386 votes.
Muhammad Mir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam won in Kohlu UC-7 ward 7 with 41 votes, while independent candidate Hakim Khan won in ward 6 with 199 votes.
Independent candidate Amanullah won in Ward 5 of Kohlu C7 with 186 votes while Mir Muhammad Yaseen of PTI won in Ward 4 with 143 votes.
Balochistan Awami Party candidate Abdul Jabbar has won Municipal Committee Loralai Ward 17 with 277 votes in Balochistan local body elections.
