The initiative includes 2,500 dedicated rest stations at partner restaurant locations in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. The programme aims to improve rider safety, comfort and overall well-being during extreme temperatures.

Moreover, foodpanda installed water coolers at all pandamart locations to improve access to drinking water. The company also partnered with leading beverage brands to organise weekly hydration drives.

In addition, foodpanda employees will distribute 5,000 juice packs directly to riders as part of a nationwide corporate volunteer campaign.

To reduce heat-related fatigue, the company introduced weekly Ice Cream Days in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Furthermore, riders will also take part in seasonal activities, including a special Mango Day celebration.

The programme also focuses on mental well-being. Therefore, foodpanda will organise recreation days featuring water park visits, movie screenings and indoor snow experiences for delivery riders.

Overall, the initiative reflects foodpanda Pakistan’s commitment to improving working conditions for gig-economy workers. The company aims to combine operational support with employee well-being during one of the country’s hottest seasons.
