Islamabad: Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar and Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ameer Muqam recently criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for breaking protocol and misusing government resources during a public gathering in Islamabad.
In a press conference, Tarar expressed his dismay over PTI leaders using abusive language towards women, which he said is unacceptable and contrary to Pashtun values. He also accused PTI of being a foreign-funded party with a rejected agenda, suggesting that the party’s leaders, frustrated by their failed political efforts, have shifted their focus to attacking Maryam Nawaz, state institutions, and journalists rather than tackling serious issues like terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Muqam, on the other hand, urged Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to address corruption in his province before pointing fingers at others.
