Thousands attend a major Eid Milad-un-Nabi ? gathering in Karachi.
KARACHI : The Barakati Foundation, in collaboration with HMR Waterfront, organised a large Eid Milad-un-Nabi ? gathering in Karachi, bringing together religious scholars, Naat reciters, students of religious seminaries and people from different walks of life.
The gathering began at Numaish Chowrangi and concluded at New Memon Masjid in Bolton Market. The programme continued from 2pm to 5:30pm and featured speeches highlighting the blessed life, character and teachings of Prophet Muhammad ?.

Speakers discussed different aspects of the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad ? and stressed the importance of following his Sunnah in everyday life.

The programme also included Naat recitations, religious speeches and special prayers. Organisers said the gathering attracted around 15,000 people, including religious students, scholars, engineers, doctors and members of the wider community.
Message of Peace and Unity
Among those attending were Haji Muhammad Nasir Qadri, Haji Abdul Samad Qadri, Qari Haji Muhammad Naeem Qadri, Muhammad Hafiz Naqshbandi, Mufti Muhammad Qasim Usmani, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Muhammad Yasir Barakati, Hafiz Bilal Qadri and Muhammad Imran Ashrafi.
In their addresses, speakers emphasised the importance of adopting the teachings and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ?. They also called for greater peace, brotherhood, unity, compassion and mutual respect within society.
The organisers said the Eid Milad-un-Nabi ? gathering also aimed to connect young people with the Prophet’s exemplary life and character while strengthening messages of love, peace and unity in society.
