Digital Economy: FPCCI and Jazz World Sign MoU to Expand Digital Services for Businesses

The Digital Economy received a boost as the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and Jazz World signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to expand digital services for Pakistan’s business community.
The agreement will provide SMEs, small businesses and large companies with modern digital and enterprise solutions tailored to their business needs.
Jazz World President Shehzad Rashid said technology had become a necessity rather than an option for businesses. He said Pakistan could not fully achieve its digital economy goals without a completely digital payments system.
Rashid said Jazz was continuing efforts to promote digital payments through JazzCash and Mobilink Microfinance Bank. He added that the JazzCash merchant network had grown to more than two million merchants.

FPCCI Policy Advisory Board Chairman Mian Zahid Hussain said cooperation between business leaders and technology companies would create a more supportive environment for the business community.
He said the partnership would help SMEs, small businesses and large companies access digital and enterprise solutions according to their specific requirements.
The business community welcomed the agreement, describing the partnership between FPCCI and Jazz World as a positive step towards improving digital access and supporting businesses across Pakistan.
