Lahore, November 14, 2025 : CCL Pharmaceuticals has partnered with the National Highways and Motorways Police to launch a joint initiative promoting cardiometabolic health and public wellbeing. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to prevention and awareness, focusing on two critical areas of national concern: heart health and diabetes management.
To mark World Diabetes Day on November 14, awareness and screening camps were held along the M2 Motorway, covering six service points across Sukheki, Sayyal and Bhera. With the support of CCL Pharmaceuticals, travelers received free health screenings and educational resources on diabetes and related cardiometabolic conditions.

Cardiometabolic diseases including heart disease, diabetes and hypertension remain among the leading causes of mortality in Pakistan. According to WHO, hypertension affects 18% of adults in Pakistan, and 31.4% live with diabetes, placing the country among the top three globally for diabetes prevalence. These figures highlight the urgent need for preventive screening, education and healthier lifestyle choices.
For more than six decades, CCL Pharmaceuticals has worked to enable healthier and happier lives through a diverse portfolio that includes cardiometabolic health, acute and specialty care and consumer wellbeing. Through its cardiometabolic portfolio powered by SGLT2 inhibitors and DPP4 inhibitors, CCL Pharmaceuticals provides evidence based therapies that support better outcomes and quality of life for people living with or at risk of diabetes.

The mission of CCL Pharmaceuticals guides it to go beyond medicine. Strengthening awareness, supporting early intervention and reinforcing healthcare systems remain central to its work. As the company strengthens access across regions, CCL Pharmaceuticals remains committed to making diabetes care more effective, inclusive and human for every community it serves.
Together, CCL Pharmaceuticals and the National Highways and Motorways Police are driving awareness for a healthier and safer Pakistan, one road and one heartbeat at a time.
