ISLAMABAD : Canada and Pakistan marked the successful conclusion of the Debt for Education Conversion (DFEC) project. An innovative initiative, turning $132 million of Pakistan’s debt owed to Canada into spending on teacher training, resulting in over 700,000 teachers being trained across Pakistan. This investment in teacher training is critical in improving the quality of education in Pakistan, ultimately empowering students to thrive in an ever-evolving world.
