Pakistan: BYD, the world’s leading new energy vehicle manufacturer, has announced its entry into Pakistan’s passenger vehicle market through a collaboration with local partner Mega Conglomerate Pvt. Ltd. The partnership aims to introduce innovative new energy vehicle solutions, accelerating the electrification of Pakistan’s automotive industry.
The signing ceremony took place during the BYD Asia Pacific dealer conference in Xi’an, China, attended by key figures including Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division; Zhang Jie, Vice General Manager of BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division; and Aly Khan, Executive Director of Mega.
Liu Xueliang highlighted the partnership’s goal to provide accessible green products and drive positive change in Pakistan’s automotive sector. Aly Khan expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating that they aim to promote EV adoption aggressively and provide customers with a unique retail experience through flagship showrooms in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.
