Karachi: Bohra Food Festival will kick off today, as Bohra community organized this kind of festival first time in Pakistan. Is Karachi Ready! Weekend will be fun filled with delights. The Bohra Food Festival has begun. Doors of Northwalk Mall are opened for public to experience Karachi’s first-of-its-kind food festival. The festival’s primary objective is for the people of Karachi to learn and embrace the Bohra culture, and there’s no better way to do that than with food.
The thaal is a Bohra staple and a defining element of their cuisine. Karachiites can experience the thaal meal by pre-booking their meals before the event to enjoy the delicious feast with their loved ones. According to the organizers Three days Roof Top food festival will witness more than one lac visitor. The festival covers an area of 64000 sq ft and is the ideal location to accommodate a large number of people. The festival has something for the entire family, with Zipline and a kids’ play area to keep the little ones occupied with games and slides, while the parents can enjoy the festivities.
They said that for the first time Karachi is witnessing a unique restaurant like CookEd where kids can cook their order. The ticket price to the happy moments is just Rs 100 for early birds, and all proceeds will go towards a charitable cause.
The event will start at 3PM on Friday till 11 PM and 11 AM to 11PM Saturday and Sunday.
