ISLAMABAD – The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has officially started disbursing the April–June 2025 quarterly installment of Benazir Taleemi Wazaif. This conditional cash transfer program supports the education of children from families registered under the BISP Kafalat program. The aim is to ensure children remain enrolled in schools and colleges, while discouraging dropout rates through consistent financial support.
Under the current installment, the stipend amount varies by education level and gender. For primary education (ages 4–12), Rs. 1,500 is provided per quarter for each enrolled boy and Rs. 2,000 for each girl. At the secondary level (ages 8–18), Rs. 2,500 is paid per boy and Rs. 3,000 per girl. For higher secondary education (ages 13–22), the amount is Rs. 3,500 per boy and Rs. 4,000 per girl.
To be eligible, the child must be the son or daughter of an active BISP Kafalat beneficiary and must be admitted to a recognized school or college anywhere in Pakistan. The enrollment process requires the beneficiary to visit an enrollment camp or field office with the child, along with certain documents. These include the CNIC of the beneficiary, the child’s B-form or Child Registration Certificate (CRC) issued by NADRA, and a verified school or college admission slip that confirms the name of the institution and class.
It is important to note that B-form or CRC verification through the NADRA database is mandatory for the child’s enrollment in the program. Beneficiaries can collect their Taleemi Wazaif payments for the April–June 2025 period through their registered bank accounts or from designated BISP payment centers. To receive funds without disruption, it is essential that the BISP Kafalat account is active and verified on the official portal.
