Showbiz Desk: Bella Hadid, a Palestinian-American supermodel, explains why she quits drinking alcohol.
Bella Hadid, speaking to InStyle Magazine in a recent interview, explained why she quit drinking six months ago: “She stopped drinking because it is very harmful to human mental health. She added that she had decided to quit drinking six months ago.
The CEO and Co-Founder Jen Batchelor added that “she liked alcohol so much that at one point she started drinking so much that she didn’t go out at night because she thought she would not be able to control herself.”
“She decided not to drink after hearing from her doctor and co-founder of Kin Euporics (non-alcoholic beverage brand) about the effects of alcohol on the brain,” she said. The model’s new business venture has helped her with anxiety, the brain fog from her Lyme disease, and work burnout.
“She no longer feels the need to drink because she knows what effect it will have on her at 3 am when she wakes up with a terrible state of anxiety, thinking about that one thing I said five years ago when I graduated high school,” she said. “There’s just this never-ending effect of, essentially, you know, pain and stress over those few drinks that didn’t do much, you know?”
Bella earlier revealed the impact of social media on her mental health, reminding fans that it is not real and time off from these platforms every once in a while is necessary.
