Karachi, Staff Reporter: The Founder Chairman of Arif Habib Group and business tycoon Arif Habib has said that the bad time that came to Pakistan’s economy is over. A good era is going to start after 3 months. He was addressing the forthrightly meeting of the Rotary Club of Karachi Platinum as a guest speaker at the Islamic Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The Rotary Club of Karachi Platinum officials include; District Governor nominee designate RI 2024-25 & prominent builder Muhammad Rizwan Adhia, President Muhammad Hasnain Pardesi, General Secretary Noreen Khan, and Treasurer Shoaib Khan.
Arif Habib termed polarization, incompetence of politicians, division in society, and the negative role of media as the cause of Pakistan’s problems. He said that those who are aware of Pakistan’s problems also know its solution but lack of implementation, which increases the problems.
Arif Habib added that the causes of inflation are different. However, it has further increased due to the depreciation of the rupee. Political instability is harmful, it is having negative effects on the economy.
It is hoped that the situation will improve after the appointment of the Chief of Army Staff. Covering the services of Rotary, he said that our social institutions should cooperate with Rotary.
Further, he gave detailed information about the Real Estate Investment Trust and also answered the questions of the participants.
Addressing the forthrightly meeting, Rotary International District Governor nominee designate 2024-25 Muhammad Rizwan Adhia said that for the first time in history, Pakistan has got the honor of hosting Rotary Zones 1B, 9 & 10 Conference. The conference will be held in YAS Island, Abu Dhabi from December 2-4, 2022.
He added that all the global leadership of Rotary is participating in this conference, a golden opportunity for Pakistanis Rotarians in which they can learn a lot and start humanitarian projects in collaboration with other countries. He said that Rotary believes in serving the suffering of humanity.
The event was attended by the Elite of the city, and the Business Community including; Hanif Suleman Jiwani, Samad Habib, Muzmal Mirza, Muhammad Ali, Mr. & Mrs. Abdul Jabbar Rathod, Shams Khan, Altaf Sakhia, Dr. Muhammad Tariq Alvi, Mr. & Mrs. Adnan Saeed, Mr. & Mrs. Adnan Zahoor, Tanzilah Hashwani, Farzand Ali, Hanif Abid, Kashif Ghori, Ali Naqvi, Junaid Hamid, Mr. & Mrs. Aslam Khaliq, Abid Majeed, Mudassar Thanvi, Qadir Mosani, Hameed Bhutto, Mujtaba Iqbal, and others.
At the end of the ceremony, Guest Speaker Arif Habib was presented with souvenirs while the new members of the club were also given rotary pins.
