VICE CHANCELLOR INAUGURATED THE TREE PLANTATION CAMPAIGN

Khairpur : Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur inaugurated the Tree Plantation Campaign at Students Societies Centre sponsored by Milkar Pakistan, Islamabad. Dr. Ibupoto along with core team of the Young Peace Development Corp (YPDC) and volunteer students of Milkar planted sapling of fruit trees and other indigenous plants.

Talking on this occasion, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto appreciated the endeavors of Mr. Hadi Saif, CEO of Milkar Pakistan for sponsoring for the tree plantation campaign at campus. He said Milkar and YPDC are working dynamically in the positive activities and supporting the Govt. of Pakistan in the philanthropists and community service at large. The Vice Chancellor said trees are gift of nature and lungs of earth. Trees are fundamental source of oxygen and friendly and green environment. Dr. Ibupoto commended the efforts of Incharge Students Societies Centre for the capacity building of the students and community engagement.

Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences and Convener Monitoring Committee Students Societies Centre, Prof. Dr. Hissamuddin Shaikh, Chairman Plantation & Beautification, Dr. Siraj Ahmed Soomro, Chairman Department of Pakistan Studies, Dr. Mumtaz Saand, Ms. Shahida Amir Chandio, Inchare Department of Political Science, Dr. Ali Raza Lashari, Focal Person, YPDC and Milkar along with students planted the saplings of trees.
