Finance Minister Miftah Ismail submitted his resignation to Nawaz Sharif. An important party meeting was held in London under the chairmanship of Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Nawaz Sharif, in which the overall political and national situation of the country was discussed in detail.
While submitting his resignation to Nawaz Sharif, Miftah Ismail said that the ministry was his trust, he had made him the minister, he worked with his full capacity in four months, he was loyal to the party and the country.
Nawaz Sharif appreciated the efforts of Miftah Ismail for carrying out the responsibilities under the most difficult conditions.
It was decided in the meeting that the current government had to extinguish the economic disaster caused by the former government.
Leader of Muslim League (N) Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif nominated Senator Ishaq Dar as Finance Minister.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Ishaq Dar, Maryam Aurangzeb, Miftah Ismail, Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan and Ahad Cheema also attended the meeting.
