Former finance minister and PML-N leader Ishaq Dar says that the country needs Nawaz Sharif at this time to remove political extremism.
Talking to the media in London, Ishaq Dar said that the issues of Nawaz Sharif should have been resolved by now, all the evidences have come, if it was not for the drama of Panama and Dawn, today Pakistan would have stood somewhere else.
He said that a few weeks ago Nawaz Sharif allowed me to go to Pakistan, legal injustices have happened to him.
Ishaq Dar says that earlier I was not going to Pakistan because of the pending petition, I did not even have a passport which was an obstacle to go to Pakistan, after getting the passport they allowed me to give this petition again.
The former finance minister said that the petition was pending in the Supreme Court for almost 4 and a half years, I have withdrawn my old petition, my passport was canceled by Imran Khan’s government, I have been issued a passport recently.
The PML-N leader says that he has to go to Pakistan first before October 7, I will take a decision based on what Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif say, I think I may go to Pakistan by the end of next week.
He further said that my oath of membership of the senate is also pending, it is also necessary to take it, after taking the oath of membership of the senate, I will do the duty that the party will impose, I believe in performance and not in claims.
The former federal minister said that he was the first to try to control the dollar and stopped the dollar, there are many concerns regarding the economy, Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif are also worried.
