Experts have developed many robots for various tasks, now a robot that can jump 100 times higher than its size and it can help us in research not only on the surface of the earth but also on the surface of the moon. It was developed by experts at the University of California, Santa Barra. There are obstacles on the surface of the moon and Mars and it can take a long time to cross them due to the wheeled robot.

Such robots are expected to cover a distance of half a kilometer on the moon in a single leap, as the robot is housed on a simple structure based on a carbon fiber spring. The robot, developed by Dr. Elliott Hawks and colleagues at the University of California, Los Angeles, uses energy in much the same way that we use the energy stored in our muscles to propel the corn forward or bounce on its legs.

Experts say that this robot fills the hidden energy by repeatedly rotating its spring, which is released all of a sudden and takes the robot to the height, otherwise the robot does not jump before it. The total weight of the experimental robot is 30 grams and the gears and springs attached to it are rotated by a small motor and energy is accumulated in them. Then, when the energy is released immediately, the robot leaps straight to the sky. Thanks to its special system, this robot lands on the ground and straightens itself.

Such robots can be very useful, especially for the moon. The gravitational force on the moon is about one-sixth that of the earth. In this way, the robot can jump 125 meters high and reach half a kilometer away from its original place. Due to this feature, it can be a great leaping system on the moon, because if you can jump two feet high on the ground, the distance to the moon can be up to 12 feet. In this way, the robot can easily cross the valleys and mountains of the moon, while the normal robot can not do this work. Experts have also called it an excellent technology for conquering the moon.
