The National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has called a session on March 25 regarding the no-confidence motion against the opposition Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The government has convened the most important session of the National Assembly on March 25, ignoring the opposition’s threat.
A statement issued in this regard said that the Speaker has convened a meeting of the National Assembly using the powers vested in him under Article 54 (3) and Article 254 of the Constitution.
A notification has also been issued by Speaker Asad Qaiser to convene a meeting of the National Assembly. According to the notification, the National Assembly will convene on Friday, March 25, at 11 am in the Parliament House.
This meeting has been called on the relocation submitted by the opposition. The National Assembly session has been postponed to March 25 due to a meeting of OIC foreign ministers.

It is also worth mentioning here that the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will be held on March 22-23 in the hall of the National Assembly for which the House has also been renovated.
Opposition threat
It is to be noted that the united opposition had threatened to hold a sit-in in the House and stop the OIC meeting if the no-confidence motion was not tabled in the National Assembly on Monday.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has invited National Assembly Member Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain from Karachi to Islamabad for a meeting. The meeting is expected on Monday.
Meeting between the Prime Minister and the Attorney General
Earlier, Attorney General Khalid Javed called on Prime Minister Imran Khan, in which various legal issues were also discussed, while the Attorney General briefed the Prime Minister on the hearing to be held in the Supreme Court.
The Attorney General apprised the Prime Minister about the judicial concern of the PTI workers over the Sindh House incident.
